Enabling Energy Transition with Nokia Mission Critical Wan solutions

Summary

Partner Webinar: Enabling Energy Transition with Nokia Mission Critical Wan solutions
Power Utility companies rely on telecommunications networks to control the safe and assured delivery of electricity which powers our homes, businesses and increasingly also our means of transportation. Telecommunications technologies used in the power utility industry go back several decades and have delivered a good job so far because power utility grids have been very static and predictable in terms of production capacity versus demand growth.

This static and predictable nature of power grids is now no longer true. The rapid growth of renewable energy sources and shift to electrification of transportation is posing great challenges to power utility companies which require them to manage data from much more distributed assets in real time. At the same time digitalization of the grid protection automation of control systems is requiring different types of telecommunications technologies.

Join us for this webinar in which we will take a closer look at these challenges and provide more insights to how Nokia is able to help power utilities to face these challenges with confidence that will enable them to embrace the digitalization of the power grid for the next decades.
