With over 36 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, including 28 years in Silicon Valley, Stéphane Téral is regarded as one of the top analysts in his field, having been the trusted advisor at some of the world's largest telecom providers and manufacturers. He specializes in next-generation wireless infrastructure including 5G and 6G, network disaggregation and automation, cloud and quantum networking, programmable core networks and communications service provider digital transformation.

Stéphane founded Téral Research in January 2023 after 2 years as a Chief Analyst at LightCounting, which he joined in May 2020, after serving as a Technology Fellow at IHS Markit where he was also rewarded with the 2016 Market Research Excellence Award. Previously, he spent 8 years as a principal analyst at Infonetics Research after starting his analyst career at RHK, where he developed the European optical coverage and helped carriers migrate from PSTN to next-generation networks. Prior to RHK, he was an R&D engineer and project manager with Alcatel where he deployed the CATV optical networks that allowed the 1992 Olympics and the grand opening of Euro Disney to be televised using fiber optics for the first time. Stéphane is a McGowan Scholar at the McLaren School of Business of the University of San Francisco where he received his MBA with an emphasis in telecommunications. He holds an engineering degree in telecommunications from the Institut Polytechnique de Paris, France.

With 30+ years of experience in the Telecoms industry, Philippe Poggianti specializes in consulting covering the 5G domain, as well as strategic advisory to B2B tech startups & scaleups. He has occupied senior positions in leading companies, on wireless infrastructure at Alcatel-Lucent and Nokia, and on chipset and infrastructure at Qualcomm.

Most recently at Qualcomm, Philippe oversaw the global strategy and business development activities towards mobile operators, covering areas such as 5G millimeter wave, 5G private networks, 5G Fixed Wireless Access and 5G/AI strategies.

Philippe regularly speaks at key international telecoms events as well as in numerous webinars. His newsletter Wireless Insights is followed by 1,200+ subscribers. Philippe holds a MSc in Computer Science (ENSEEIHT, 1989) and an Executive MBA (INSEAD and Tsinghua University, 2011).

Michel W. Chbat is Head of Neutral Hosts Segment at Nokia. He has 30 years of experience in the telecom industry. In the past three years he established Nokia’s strategy for neutral hosts and co-directed a global program that led to significant business growth in this market segment. He previously had several senior roles within Nokia, including VP of Cross-Domain Solution Sales in Asia Pacific & Japan, CTO for North & East Europe, as well as Head of Solution Management and CTO for North America. Outside of Nokia, Michel led the R&D organization in Xtera Communications, taking the company from an 8-person startup to a global undersea system vendor. Michel holds an Optical Engineering degree from Ecole Supérieure d’Optique (France), and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University (USA).
