HGK - Nokia 5G Academy aims to provide key stakeholders with all the necessary information that 5G brings as a technology, as well as to familiarize them with interesting use cases.

The focus of 2nd 5G Academy session is on IND4.0, where digitalization and automation form key drivers of efficiency, productivity, security and sustainability regardless of industry type - and 5G is one of the foundations for this.

In this 2nd session you will learn about the 100 Smart Factories Project in Croatia, ARENA2036 - the innovation platform for mobility and production of the future in Germany, and how Nokia can support digitization and automation in manufacturing. You will, also, learn about use cases with 5G in Industry.

Tajana Kesić Šapić

Tajana Kesić Šapić attended the University of Economics in Zagreb where she graduated, and her master’s degree she earned on Faculty of Economics University of Rijeka. She obtained leading positions in companies ST media / Cut-Pro d.o.o. /Poslovni park Bjelovar and she was a State Secretary at Ministry of Economy, Labor and Entrepreneurship. Currently she is obtaining the position of a Head of Industry Department which is part of the Sector for industry and sustained development.

Prof. Dr. sc. Nedeljko Štefanić
Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture
University of Zagreb

Prof. Dr. sc. Nedeljko Štefanić graduated and received his Ph.D. from Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Zagreb in 1997. Currently he is full-time professor on a postgraduate specialist study program and doctoral study program in the field of Industrial Engineering and Management at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Zagreb.

As a Director of company Culmena, he has launched two conferences: the GALP Conference on Manufacturing Systems (since 2011), and the Lean Spring Summit (since 2015). Culmena specializes in Lean Management, Digital and Green Transformation. One of the most important Culmena's projects is „100 Smart factories“ with the aim of creating more smart factories to ensure their position in the market.

Johannes Koppenborg
Head of Manufacturing Solutions

Johannes Koppenborg is responsible for manufacturing and automotive solution at Nokia CX Digital Industries with special emphasis on private wireless since 2019. Before he worked at Nokia Bell Labs, where he was responsible for the wireless systems lab and field trial team, with special focus on 5G solution for the industry.

Nives Sandri

Nives Sandri has Master of sciences degree at Faculty of Electrical engineering and Computing in Zagreb, Croatia. Having 20 years of working experience in Telecommunications field starting her professional career at “Croatian Post and Telecommunications continuing in Siemens d.d., Croatia in Communications (Com) sector. In Siemens d.d. her professional career gradually developed along with transformation of mentioned Siemens’s Com sector which became currently known as Nokia. Throughout this period, she obtained positions of Account Manager in Sales, Head of Sales, Director of Communications and IT Sector, and Country Director and Board member of Nokia Affiliate in Croatia and North Macedonia.
