Field automation networks (FANs) provide a foundation for digital transformation that can enable oil and gas operators to adapt to market shifts by improving productivity, safety, efficiency and sustainability.

Watch our on-demand webinar to learn how a converged FAN architecture that combines private LTE with IP/MPLS can accelerate this transformation by providing pervasive communication services for onshore and offshore facilities, pipeline systems, connected workers and control centers.

Our experts will share insights about how a converged FAN can innovatively combine LTE with IP/MPLS multiservice capabilities to meet the performance and reliability demands of mission- and business-critical industrial applications such as IoT and automation. They will also explain how the converged architecture can enable oil and gas operators to protect their LTE investments while fully embracing 5G, Industry 4.0 and the cloud.

Topics Covered
  • How a converged FAN can help operators improve efficiency, increase production yields and optimize returns on drilling and refinery assets

  • How a private LTE network can provide robust, QoS-enabled connectivity for critical group communications (PTT/PTV), asset and personnel tracking and video analytics applications

  • How a converged FAN can help operators use connectivity, real-time analytics and automation to support innovative Industry 4.0 use cases

  • How IP/MPLS can provide custom service capabilities for OT and IT applications and ensure flexible coverage by seamlessly riding over private and commercial LTE domains
