Gartner’s report1 states, " The ever-growing demand for wireless coverage, capacity and unique features are also driving the adoption of private LTE networks." With automation and the digitalization of their factory beginning, manufacturers cannot overlook the importance of a secure, reliable, wireless network for their business and mission-critical operations. 4G/LTE, and 5G in the future, will play an integral role in their digital transformation plans to improve operational efficiency, increase flexibility and remain competitive in a global economy which means that manufacturers need to learn how to define, implement and manage their own high-speed private LTE networks. Choosing the right vendor and deployment model will be crucial.
