Summary

SD-WAN for Flexible Branch Security

Implementing a flexible security architecture is one of the key benefits of software-defined wide-area networking (SD-WAN technology). Enterprises and service providers alike are using SD-WAN platforms to implement best-of-breed security services including firewall, URL filtering, intrusion detection system/prevention (IDS/IDP), and anti-malware/anti-virus services. These security services can be implemented natively as SD-WAN software and hardware at the branch or by service-chaining to telco cloud or cloud security broker services.

Led by Futuriom chief analyst R. Scott Raynovich, this webinar will look at trends in using SD-WAN to deliver next-generation security tools that are integrated with the networking infrastructure.

Topics Covered
  • How SD-WAN platforms are being used to deploy dynamic, integrated security services

  • Security use cases of SD-WAN for both service providers and enterprises

  • Which types of security services can be integrated with SD-WAN technology

  • What the future holds for SD-WAN and branch security
