What does it take to attract and retain loyal mobile subscribers? We asked 20,000 mobile subscribers and 28 operators to find out.

2016 marks the ten-year anniversary of Nokia’s Acquisition and Retention Study, an extensive global consumer survey where we surveyed mobile subscribers and operators about their views on a variety of topics ranging from network quality and customer care to mobile advertising and value-added services. We asked about 4G adoption and what might be holding some consumers back. We asked about what factors are important when choosing a mobile operator and what consumers worry about in terms of mobile security - all these topics impact both customer acquisition and retention in some way.
