With the existing Distributed Antenna System (DAS) and Hybrid DAS systems at Beijing Airport’s flagship  Terminal 3 failing to meet customer demands, Nokia proposed an innovative small cells solution.

Two Flexi Zone small cells were deployed quickly and immediately carried more data than the two  DAS systems put together. The extra revenue generated meant the small cells paid for themselves  in just one day.
