Philippe Agard is currently Head of Defense Market in Nokia. He also chaired the critical communications Broadband Industry Group (BIG), a The Critical Communications Association (TCCA), Working Group formed to encourage broadband vendor cooperation in the development of common global critical communications solutions. As such he is member of TCCA board. Philippe has spent his entire career within Alcatel, Alcatel-Lucent and now Nokia. He previously held several positions of director in Mobile Networks Business Group, Finance and Vertical Markets activities. Philippe graduated from the Ecole Supérieure d’Electricité (Supélec) in France and the International Diploma from Imperial College (London) and a Diploma of Advanced Economic Studies (DEA) from Dauphine, Paris. He also graduated from IHEDN (Institut des hautes études de défense nationale) which translates as the Institute of Advanced Studies in National Defence in 2013.

After joining the German Air Force in 1974, his career took Major General Staudacher into the business of logistics and planning, policy and concepts at headquarters and ministerial levels. He served in combat missions, supporting the operations in Bosnia and Afghanistan. In various assignments he held command at battalion, brigade and division levels both joint and in the Air Force, and served in senior leadership positions such as Dep Military Adviser to the German Mission to the United Nations, Vice Director of Staff of the Joint Armed Forces Staff, Director of Staff of the Air Force, and Vice Director of the Bundeswehr Planning Office. Major General Staudacher earned a Master´s degree in Aeronautical and Space Technology. He also holds a Bachelor´s degree in Economics. He graduated from the German Armed Forces Staff College in 1990. After retirement from military service in November of 2016, he joined AFCEA International staff as VP EMEA and General Manager Europe in January 2017. In addition, Gen Staudacher serves as a member of the Advisory Committees of the Clausewitz Society and of the Hexagon Geospatial’s Advisory Council.
